Welcome to Before Hello’s ("we," "us," "our," or the "App"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Before Hello’s, a dating application that prioritizes reading profiles and listening to voice notes before viewing profile pictures.
By accessing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Before Hello’s.
1. Eligibility
To use Before Hello’s, you must:
Be 18 years or older.
Have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
Not be a registered sex offender or convicted of any violent crime.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these requirements.
2. Account Registration & Security
You must create an account to use Before Hello’s.
You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
We are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized account access.
3. User Conduct & Community Guidelines
To create a safe and respectful community, you must not:
Use the App for any unlawful or harmful purpose.
Impersonate someone else or provide false information.
Post or share explicit, offensive, or abusive content.
Harass, stalk, threaten, or harm other users.
Collect or distribute personal data from other users without their consent.
Spam, advertise, or solicit other users for commercial purposes.
Violating these rules may result in suspension or termination of your account.
4. Content & Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of the content you upload (photos, voice notes, bio, etc.).
By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and use it within the App.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our App’s content without permission.
5. Privacy & Data Use
Your use of Before Hello’s is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your data.
6. Safety & Disclaimers
Before Hello’s does not conduct background checks on users. Use caution when interacting with others.
We are not responsible for any interactions or relationships formed through the App.
Use of the App is at your own risk. We do not guarantee matches, compatibility, or outcomes.
7. Payments & Subscriptions
A premium subscription to Before Hello’s is available for $22.99 USD per month.
All purchases for premium subscriptions are non-refundable unless required by law.
We may change subscription pricing at any time, but such changes will not affect active subscriptions until renewal.
Subscription fees are charged on a recurring monthly basis. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
8. Termination of Account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:
Violate these Terms.
Engage in harmful, illegal, or abusive behavior.
Misuse or exploit any features of the App.
You may delete your account at any time through the App’s settings.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Before Hello’s is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from your use of the App.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
10. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States.
Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Dallas, Texas, unless prohibited by law.
You agree to waive your right to a class-action lawsuit against Before Hello’s.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we will notify you via email or in-app notification. Continuing to use the App after changes means you accept the new Terms.
